Rebecca and Zach planned a beautiful and effortlessly elegant fall wedding at The Citrus Beach Club with the help of Delany of Forget Me Knot Weddings. The couple’s dreams of an upscale event at one of Ocean Isle's most coveted and charming houses came true during their classic and understated wedding.
Sparks gradually flew for Rebecca and Zach when they were young students. Although they didn't hit things off immediately, the timing wasn’t yet right for the pair. But Zach stayed persistent and eventually Rebecca came around.
They both knew it was perfect timing for them.
When Zach was ready to propose, he made up the perfect story to get Rebecca to take trip to Phoenix, Arizona. He suggested they go visit his sister there for Thanksgiving which she agreed to with no questions.
On November 19, Zach took Rebecca to the Wriggley Mansion for a "celebration dinner" before kneeling to pop the question.
It was the most perfect and sweet night. She wouldn’t have had it any other way.
The couple said “I do” on the beach of Ocean Isle on Sept. 28, 2024. Rebecca described the beach as a perfect fit to be the site of the traditional ceremony that she and Zach wanted. After exchanging their vows, the pair celebrated their lasting commitment at The Citrus Beach Club, a charming and oceanfront wedding house.
The Citrus Beach Club is a carefully crafted wedding and special events house on Ocean Isle Beach. The couple said the house was amazing and made for a worry-free day. There’s hardly a more charming or elegant house than this mansion and its manicured grounds.
The couple wanted to incorporate white into their autumn wedding. The bride herself supplied elegant white floral arrangements.
Guests enjoyed cocktail hour by the pool while the couple took photos.
Diamond's Catering kept guests well-fed during the outdoor reception on the deck of the house. Forget Me Knot provided tabletop linens, while 3 Cheers Party Rentals supplied lights, and L&L provided chairs and cushions. Diamond's Catering supplied silverware and china along to pair with the minimal votives and centerpieces that decorated tables.
Carson, the creative talent and business owner behind Goldenbrook Photography, captured every moment of Rebecca and Zach's beautiful fall wedding. The couple knew that this experienced North Carolina wedding photographer was the one from their very first consultation.
They cultivated a relationship with Carson that made them eager for all their photo opportunities. Carson went above and beyond for Zach and Rebecca…it was such a blessing to have him. Carson's artful style gracefully captured the couple and their guests.
Overall, we describe her wedding planning process as seamless. The couple carefully selected vendors that complemented their personalities and the elegant feel they sought.
One of our favorite big-day moments included Rebecca and Zach's last dance.
Though we admit wedding planning can be challenging, we encourage couples to enjoy every moment. Planning a wedding is really the beginning of making decisions as a couple. It’s a great opportunity to lay the foundation for how you will handle stress, joy and excitement while married.
Rebecca changed into a fun, flirty gold African-style dress for the reception while guests filled the dance floor at the house and Joyful Entertainment kept the party going.
